Seems amazing to me because it doesn't feel particulary historic. Probably because they've won so much in the regular season the last few years, and when they lose they really seem to lose big.

probably because the best team ever in franchise history went on a 17-0-1 close to the regular season, and this one has spread it out? I think this team has to get past that team's win total to be recognized. Maybe even needs to get to 60 wins.

I'm hoping the spread out wins and a loss will keep them from going on that too long a run that is prime for a letdown.

Unless they get 57 ROW, i couldn't care less if they beat the record.

They have 36 ROW right now... is this the fastest to 36?

I think they already peaked too early withthe play when everyone was hurt on defense.

92-93 had 36W in game 55. But didn't get to 38W until game 60, and 39W in game 64.

Going into the Olympic break, the MN is down to:

That seems like good karma both for the pens and the US (and all other teams playing Canada).

Realistically it's about 4 or 5. To win the division will probably be another 8 or 10, and that's if NYR and/or PHL absolutely dominate down the stretch.

Magic number to clinch the division is 16 not considering tie breakers.

When we get down to 7, can we show a picture of Kunitz' leg bending the wrong way from last night's game to represent the 7?

2001, just before the ship fell apart. (Though that falling apart gave us 29-71-87-11...)
