Is it true you can write it off? You're getting something in return, so I didn't think you could. I don't know.

You can write it off for whatever the value of the items in the bag are which can exceed $250 depending on what is in the bag. That's what it said after I placed my order.

FedEx has donated the shipping this year. ie: shipping is free.

In Washington, PA and still didn't get mine. Mario's twitter feed noted that bags were beginning to ship on Friday, so they may not be going out on the same day.

True. Wish they provided tracking. I hate living in an apartment and getting packages delivered. Sometimes they just leave it outside the building door which is not safe.

Yeah, the lack of detail regarding the jerseys kept me for seriously contemplating the $1000 bags. That, and the $1000 price tag. :D

$250 bag
Lemieux Jersey (replica jersey)
Maata puck
Troy Loney puck

super super happy. you'll know right away if you have a jersey because there will be an envelope with a certificate of authenticity in your box.

What do you mean no tax write off? I was under the impression you could write off at minimum the $250 as a donation to a charity?

I believe that it is a deduction of $250 minus the fair market value of the items received, and an autographed jersey makes the value higher than the contribution.
