It would be nice if they don't go up EVERY year....

You'll have to wait until they suck for a period of time and not willing to spend to the cap.

I'm pretty sure these seats were $70.50 last season. $2.50 per ticket seems to be about standard for an increase when comparing to past season.

You're probably right. Every other season in the Consol I have been in Section 201. These seats are much better, but it was a pretty big jump to move, so I'm probably off in my perception.

Pens are really pumping the Coyotes game on March 25th, a Tuesday. They're offering 30% off tickets and a drawstring bag giveaway. As someone on the STHWL I feel like breaking the 'streak' would probably benefit me in case there are folks on the fence about renewing or jumping off the list.

Pumping tomorrows game against the Stars, same 30% discount as above. Student Rush online pre-sale up as well. Could that bad Flyers weekend be the end?

I checked the coyotes game next week on ticketmaster... its mostly scattered singles and some pairs, not much left. Student rush will easily fill up what is left. Looking at tomorrow game .. Student rush should pretty easily fill what is left as well. More left for tomorrow(lots of SRO), but it will sell out.

Now how many empty seats will there be that were sold? That's a good question.

I couldn't believe how many empty seats there were for the Sunday Flyers game. If you can't get up for the Flyers on a Sunday afternoon, when else would you plan to go?

I didn't notice too many empty seats, but my mood was pretty sour from the game play in the first period. But I guess it's possible that people who bought the tickets for a 7:30 pm start couldn't make the 12:30 time? Otherwise, I have no idea.

That could've been a factor, I hadn't considered that. I set my DVR to record all Pens games and follow the schedule in the series manager. I'd completely forgotten it was moved for NBC.

I just checked it now and there are pairs available in almost every section in the lower bowl, and there is even some trips available upstairs. Maybe with the threat of cold weather with some light snow will keep the rushers away. I really want to see what happens if the streak ends. ;)
