All the Penguins promised you was season tickets at X price. You agreed. The market can't sustain those prices apparently, and people are selling at a loss. What's the beef?

HAHA. Slappy said "made about this".

And also, don't we go through this ever single season. Check and see what has/hasn't been sold prior to the actual game. Not 2 days before.

Ticketmaster.com has reduced $165 upper bowl seats to $108 and they still won't sell. People have tickets listed on the Exchange for $70.

They've reduced prices by 40% and still can't beat the prices on the secondary market. It's laughable.

So are you mad at the fanbase for not paying the prices?

Im furious because they screwed up on STH pricing. It's way too high. Everyone around me is going to get in the game for cheaper than what I paid. I've paid for the right to receive lower cost tickets. It's now being passed on to everyone. I'm going to have a bunch of student rushers sitting around me that paid $40 to get in the game.

I'm upset at the Penguins for out-pricing everyone.

I don't think that's a "right" you paid for, but whatever. That's their goal, but if demand isn't where they expected, this happens. Do you believe they did this intentionally?

I think the easy solution is drop the season tix and buy single games.

Absolutely. I'll never buy a playoff strip again.

Nope.

They'll still announce a sellout crowd on Wednesday and that is a farce.

Still is a sellout whether you like it or not because all tickets were sold. Unless they changed the definition of a sellout.

So if they sold all of the tickets, even at below STH value, it's still a sellout. I don't know why that bothers you.

Just think, if they make the Finals, that is where you can cash in.

Whoever said anything about cashing in? I'd like to be able to get my money back if I can't make a game.

Then if they make the Finals you'd be paying less than what most people on the secondary market paid.

All of the tickets were not sold. Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

They're giving them away because they can't sell them all. Take a look at the Pens Points app.

All of the ticketmaster tickets will mysteriously disappear and listings on the Exchange and Stubhub will have way lower prices.

Who cares if the sellout streak is fraudulent? I don't understand why this would agitate someone.

The organization screwed up ticket prices. PERIOD. END OF STORY. They've had to drop them 40% on ticketmaster. You're wrong but you don't see it.

The better thing to do than being a bitter STH is become an ex STH. That's what I did. And I did it quietly (sans this post)

This is the only way the Pens will realize that they have hit their peak of the market demands. When people stop walking away form them.
