Does anyone seriously believe in their heart of hearts that this team will win on Tuesday night?

Big game 7 indeed. Win and nothing that happened the last two games matters. This would of course be ideal.

Lose and hard questions must be asked. Another 3-1 series lead blown to a much lesser team. Losing 3 home games in a series to the same lesser team. Another team able to completely shut down the regular season scoring leader and #1 PP. Another series of maturity issues. Penalties taken post-period. Multiple 1st period consecutive penalties in multiple games.

I think is is more than everything that ends, ends badly. There is a systemic or cultural failure of some sorts.

Olympics, injuries, and the fact that we weren't really supposed to make it far anyways.

Still hopeful for game 7. I mean, Rangers beat us 3 in a row? Shouldn't be possible.

That is the only positive I can think of for Tuesday. Can the Rangers really beat the Pens three straight times?

Other than that, everything else in New Yorks favor.

Rangers have a better record than us since January or February I believe.

Losing to the Rangers wouldnt be a big upset or a surprise. Losing after going up 3-1 is the shock. Losing to a team with a better defense, coach, and goalie would surprise nobody.

On paper we are the favorite in this series because we won a few more games than they did in like October and November. Teams look evenly matched to me.

Hideous PP, no Sid, a few other no shows, took game 5 off, we should be pretty thankful we are still alive.

They better get the lead. If they fall behind, I don't see them coming back to win.

I think questions should remain. This team had a chance for a short series and a possible match up with a team that might go through a tough series to get there.

They've made all the same mistakes that bit them before. Win or lose this series I still have issues with what they've done here.

Well, there's no tomorrow, blah, blah, blah, and all that.

I remember feeling like I was going to vomit all day the day of game 7 vs. the Caps in 2009. I thought the Caps, at home, were going to come out with hair on fire. It turned out to be a laugher in our favor.

Even though it's a home game for us, I hope for the same this time.

They aren't good enough to win next round, but they are way better than NY. NY isn't a good hockey club.

Right now NY is definitely the better hockey club.

The final tally will be held Tuesday evening.

Tickets are still available.

The question remains.....will the Pens show up and will Crosby have to buy a ticket?

Oh, dodint. No way.

You want to blow up the team? This guy is the bomb, not the one to pick up the pieces.

See games 2, 3, and 4.

If you think Bylsma is the sole problem here (can also substitute Fleury, Crosby there), you need to reevaluate.

This team has quit playing. There isn't really an explanation. If it was coaching or Fleury, then they wouldn't have given up 2 goals in 3 games.

Bylsma has no fault in games 1, 5, or 6 right? The team coming out completely unprepared and once again losing their heads when things don't go their way have nothing to do with him right? Blowing a 3-1 series lead has nothing to do with him right. The team sucking again in the playoffs has nothing to do with him right?

Look, maybe the Pens win Tuesday, and maybe they go on to the Finals. If that happens then great. I would have been wrong about this team and Bylsma. But this team has so many problems and they persist in the playoffs year after year after year. Tell me what is different about what is happening now than what has happened the last few years. This team has learned nothing. And that is a coaching issue.

I agree, haven't we seen all we're going to get with Disco by this point? Why would anyone think that any outcome beyond: "when the going gets tough...completely collapse or don't show up" be exceeded at this point. I was Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with all factors considered, but, you watched the Olympics too...

I understand your point, but Sid has 1 Stanley Cup and both Lemieux and Jagr have 2 in 2 years.

Uh, yeah. Do you realize where Jagr was on the Penguins depth chart during those years? But whatever. That is not the point. He died inside (public drama as captain) and demanded to be traded after being publically called out by his teammate Mario Lemieux during the playoffs.

Sid has been awesome. The crap he takes here is messed up. I'm not going to spit out his resume again. His career is already amongst the most accomplished in league history. He should have nothing left to prove on LGP.

They could bring bring back Scotty Bowman with this roster and it pobably doesn't get them much closer to the cup. They need roster change, get guys in here who win contested puck battles, go hard to the net to score, and who knock the opposition on their a** when they get into the scoring areas. Coaching is a symptom of the problem, but not a cure.

What would you rather have? the Pens win on Tuesday then get obliterated again by Boston or lose Tuesday and see some changes?

Pens have started off the first minute or two if every game poorly.

The puck gets dropped for the opening faceoff vs CBJ or NYR and they spend the opening 90 seconds in our zone buzzing our net. We never win the opening faceoff and dominate the first few shifts.

Outcome is win - win. If we win then woo hoo conference me finals or whatever. Lose hopefully means an end to Bylsma and thus mediocre garbage system. Anyone would be better. Anyone.
