The Penguins need to quit giving up the first goal like they have in four of their six home games. Nothing takes the crowd out of it more than a deflating early goal against.

And when they were losing, the fans were quiet.
Correct. But if the Pens get down 4-0 tonight, how do you think the CEC will sound if the Pens score one?
Faintly hopeful of a second goal to get them back in, but still realizing the picture is dim....just like every other fan base in attendance at every other venue in the same situation at every event ever played in the history of all creation ever.

BJs have also never won a playoff game before this year while we have 3 cups in the last 25 years.
It's the same reason why colleges like Duke, Kentucky, etc. shouldn't storm the court. Act like you've been there before (and we have). Our fans have been pretty spoiled so it's understandable that they're not super crazy. Though I do think we could be a little louder more consistently.

On the note of home-ice advantage, I wish there was more than just a +1 home-game reward for regular season performance. It just doesn't seem enough considering the length of the regular season.
Higher seeded team gets Game 1, Game 2, Game 4, Game 6, and Game 7
Lower seeded teams gets Game 3 and Game 5
Won't happen, though.

CEC needs to bring it tonight. I find the lack of faith disturbing. Pens go down a goal early. MAKE SOME NOISE!!! Never stop. Make loud non-booing our players noises. Make them often.
