I'm curious as to everyone's feelings on tonight's game. Please answer truthfully and don't just say yes because the Pens are your team.
I truthfully hope they win because I'd love to see a Habs Pens matchup. The last thing I'd want to see is the Bruins again. Even with their sub par play at times during these playoffs, I still think they'd hand us our lunch again.
That being said, if the Pens lost tonight, I wouldn't be heartbroken because I'd welcome the mandatory change that would HAVE to happen. With the way this team played this year, I never really expected much of them in the playoffs and stayed away from them in all pools. If they lose tonight, they'd basically equal my expectations - win the first round, lose the second. Anything more would have been a bonus.
Now, with Bylsma's playoff history, record at home during the playoffs, and record at home when facing elimination, I don't have a ton of confidence going into tonight, especially with how they've played as of late.
Bad juju or not, unless Crosby and Malkin go back to their own lines, I don't see them being victorious.
Bring on the hate, but I'm just being honest.
