What tomorrow might hold?

Postby Penspal on Tue May 13, 2014 2:42 pm

Depending on how things go tonight:

- A clean shaven face
- 2 more weeks of intense action to look forward to
- way more time to spend enjoying the summer
- heart attack if the Pens go a loooooong overtime (hence getting into tomorrow)
- A new enemy to hate
- A new team to cheer for (but nothing like Pens)
- way less LGP
- way more LGP

Positive outcome: More Pens hockey to look forward to.
Negative outcome: Hockey is dead to me until July 1st (free agent frenzy).

Could forever be associated with a most momentous occasion in penguins histor if they lose tonight.

to be fair, the 91 Finals started the day after my birthday which we won (though we did lose game 1), so it's not all bad.

World championships (Russia spanked the US and Canada lost to France?)?
WBS Penguins (Series tied 1-1, going to Providence Wednesday night)?
I have early meetings scheduled, so hope there's no overtime involved tonight.

I suspect off season will be a lot more interesting perhaps even before July 1st, should the Pens lose tonight

I had to put my cat down last night, some ******* kicked or hit him with a car. I'm lower than a snake's belly right now.

I have grown apathetic to Penguins' playoff blunders. I am not sure that is a good thing though. :?

So sorry. I’ve been down that road on more than one occasion and so I definitely can empathize. It’s very tough, and whatever else might be going on at the time shrinks in importance.

Thanks. Its hard to imagine me not being pissed about the Pens, but this overshadows the ugly Pens situation.
