no.

but they definitely would have been a slight favorite which isn't saying much since they've been the favorite in every series since winning the cup.

I think so. MTL would've struggled defensively against us.

I don't think so.

It would, of course, depend upon which Penguin team showed up for the series.

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe go fudge yourself. My theory on Habs is they're like mushrooms. Feed them **** and keep them in the dark.

Boston made it the same distance as the Pens... Maybe the playoffs are really hard like we've heard. Oh wait, Rossi said that, can't be true.

Ever seen the habs play PacMan? Top score in every tickle and dime joint I have ever seen. Scary. Scary beings. Just don't ask if the female shaves.

Not sure I could have taken PK Slewfoot destroying Crosby while his teamates stood by watching.....

They certainly had the talent to beat the Canadiens, so they could have beat them, yes. Would they have beat them? Doesn't matter, they'll never have the opportunity to find out, so why worry about it.

No. The Habs are too fast for the Pens to keep up with them. Our dmen would've have been forechecked aggressively and would be constantly turning over the puck. Carey Price also has the ability to shut teams down with the defense MT has them playing.

I think the Pens would've lost. History indicates they have trouble with defensive teams.

Therian would of out coached and made Dan look like a fool. If you watched that series the games were called like 90s clutch and grab hockey. It was an exciting series but the games were officiated terrible,. If Sid was fustrated now he would of jumped off a bridge by the end of that series. habs would of taken us in 5

I'd have to say no, but they would have made it very interesting. Last year's roster would have had a better shot at it, but they were slow too. The Pens need to get younger and faster this offseason. In theory, bottom 6 guys should not be that difficult to replace, but when you have to replace multiple players with limited cap space, it's more difficult than it seems. And there is no help in WBS.

destiny?

The habs were relentless and aggressive. The powerplay would stand no chance, they'd get frustrated and start making dumb mistakes.

I am impressed by Therrien. He has the Habs playing very well. I erroneously picked Boston to physically overwhelmed the Habs, but they out-quicked the thugs from Beantown.

It would have made for a great story line - Bylsma vs. Therrien. We would have lost.

No, Pens don't crash the net(Habs do) and routinely lose assignments in the D-zone. They would have been embarassed.

Habs speed would have given the Pens fits. Flower never played well in MTL. Would have been a poop-show.

I was hoping for a Bruins showdown. Another kick at the can.
