Yes, but he also helped us during the Cup run. We haven't really had a crease-clearer since.

I was kinda hoping to see separate Scuderi and Scuderi 2.0 options.

Somehow overlooked Tyler "Chestsnipe" Kennedy, voted for Adams almost immediately.

Tangradi was an easy choice IMO. I'm not going to pick anyone that was on the 09 Cup team.

I disliked Whitney, played super soft, reminded me of Dick Tanstrom another least favorite of mine. Whitney seemd to have some kind of attitude that he was bette than most. I just remember watching him standing there while someone unloaded on Sid on night. Someone must gave him a talking to cause in the playoffs somehow he fought someone for hitting on of our guys.

He was talented but hasn't done anything else in his career.

The longer I see Adams play the more I am disliking him also. Was a very serviceable player when we first got him when her was one hundred years old. But now I am just sick of seeing the guy play way past his lifespan of a good hockey player.

Joe Vitale.

Represents everything that is wrong with talent evaluation in hockey (i.e. people see speed above all else). This guy is one of the most frustrating players I can remember watching - he totally stinks and is a complete turd with the puck and at basically everything else other than skating fast.

Joe dumps puck in. Joe wins race to the puck. Joe throws a blind pass into the slot for a 3 on 2 the other way. Joe takes a penalty behind the play.

If those are your criteria, perhaps Koltsov would be a better pick.

I think LeClair would have been my vote. One of the very few times I've actually booed somebody wearing a Penguins sweater.

The Barnaby-Odelein dustup was fun when Odelein was with NJD.

Related, Mike Wilson. He was awesome and unappreciated by you butts.

I'm sorry but I'd vote Martin here. As a whole, I've despised him while in Pittsburgh. Scuds would be a close second. When they were together on the ice this year I closed my eyes to prevent frustration.

I'd choose Tangradi, but he was not really ever in a position where he could HURT the team. He just sucked.

Goligoski, on the other hand...

I voted Tangradi because I don't really have strong feelings for anyone.

But Hossa is the past/present Pen I dislike the most by a long shot. He played Kingmaker to some degree by eventually signing with Chicago.

I hated Chris Minard with a passion. I cannot believe he lasted 35 games with this team. Minard fashioned himself as a sniper. He finished up with 2 goals in 40 NHL games.

From what i remember his skating was not so great, but he always seemed to be in the right spot to get a goal for us. How nice would that be now-a-days?

because MT used to give him lots of ice time when lots of people thought other players deserved to be playing ahead of him. Sort of like the current Craig F'n Adams.

Poster child for why you can't just look at stats to determine a player's worth. He was absolutely awful, and usually a liability while on the ice. I think the fact that he was essentially out of the league by age 26, right around when most players hit their prime, speaks volumes about his value as an NHL player.

Yeah, after he finally was not signed here he went to Tampa and scored 17 goals in 64 games, which you would think was good... But the next season they dumped him off to Vancouver where he played an entire 3 games before vanishing from the NHL scene and being banished to the Euro leagues. ~20 goal seasons and NO ONE wants you... it says a lot about your game.
