Yohe - meh...Orpik news

Postby llipgh2 on Wed May 28, 2014 6:59 pm

Can we consolidate all the injury threads? I hated to start another one but didn't want this to get lost.

Anyway, Yohe said he will soon post his column, revealing that a major player was injured throughout the playoffs.
I'll change the name of the post after his colum comes out.

I'm guessing Sid?

Are you sure that response is in reply to the injury?

Edit: Because he was talking about MM/DK arguing about the Pirates as well.

Yes, it's about his upcoming column on a Pens injury. That's the conversation he was having with that woman.

So Yohe really has nothing to say. He's just starting a new thread?

He said it right after the loss. I said it then but Sid isn't the kind to make it sound like he's making excuses. I'd still bet he was injured

I'm guessing it's James Neal's feelings that are hurt after reading about how he wanted to be traded.

Different tweets indicating Brooks' knee was wrapped and he was limping around. Plus the fact that he didn't speak at all from the time that he was injured v the rangers. You know Brooks will talk to the media.
I'll feel very bad if it is over for him.

That is a possibility.

He might be the dumbest - and I'm not talking about hockey IQ - Penguin I've ever seen.

If the new GM and (fingers crossed) new coach want to start playing the younger d that the Pens have so much of, he's gone.

Rather have Orpik than Scuderi but certaibly not both. And Niskanen over both of them.

I don't want Scuderi either. I'm hoping the Pens can find a taker for him.

Outside of a desperate trade deadline team, maybe due to injuries, Scuderi is a Penguin for life.

In the minority, but I want Brooks back. It would have to be a reduce salary, 3 years , with the last 2 reduced.
2 years with option for 3, with a no move contract.
His teammates respect him and he is a leader. With new GM- and maybe the turmoil of keeping blysma, you need Brooks.
