Rob Scuderi is the new Tyler Kennedy - LGPers keep thinking someone out there will want him, even though no one does.

Ray Shero, Dan Bylsma, is that you? You guys

Please don't joke about that. I can only hope that Despres is a 100% NHLer this year.

He was worth a second round pick to the Sharks.

I think RS snuck in Rutherford's office and made this signing...

Well, technically, one team did want Tyler Kennedy.

The Sharks gave up a pick for him. I don't think you do that unless you want a guy, but that's just me...

Well Ehrhoff replaces Niskanen in the top 4 with Letang, Martin and Maata when he returns.
That's certainly solid.

Now if only Rutherford can dump Scuderi. Then he's front runner for GM of the year.

The Sharks gave a 2nd rounder for him. So, they obviously wanted him.

Technically. Actually. Literally.

The problem with TK is everyone thought he would be a key piece to a deal. No one wanted him that bad.

at first I wasn't happy until I realized we didn't oversign or overpay. this is Ehrhoff's chance to show that it wasn't him but the awful teams he was on. he'll be looking to prove something this year and cash in next July 1.

Great move by GMJR. Facilitates a Martin trade.

Now on to forwards...

By all accounts Martin wants to test free agency after the year. Trading him for some pieces would be good asset management IMO

Love that logo. Any chance that the Pittsburgh Penguins could adopt it? That penguin certainly looks gritty and all business; just what this team is looking for as it strives to overhaul its roster and its image.

Guys this move was made to replace Nisky, no more no less. A one year deal is a god send, Gives up a puck mover for one year until Poillet is ready to assume that spot. niskanen is as good as gone.
