does mark recchi cover his bald head of the ice and then on the ice when his helmet flips of his balding head is exposed ala Newman asking to try on a new hat recently bought from a flea market while trying to pick up a woman complimenting the hat

Congrats !

I'd like to see Stu Barnes brought back... Someday, I could see Barrasso joining the band and being
brought back.

Recchi was shipped out out of town in 1992 in exchange for Tocchet. Now Recchi is back. Awkward? U Mad Bro?

I bet a dinner with Recchi, Tocchet, and Mario would be fun.

Certainly explains why he was at development camp this morning, chatting up Jim Rutherford for most of the session.

Could you make a full rug if you combined Rachi's rug with Browny's rug? I say no.

I don't think there is any issue whatsoever. Both Recchi and Tocchet have been all over the league. They know the business.

Lemieux, Recchi, Tocchet and Stevens...now those were some big time players! What memories!

They should bring back Jagr just so they have a player from the 90s cup team in some stage of the team. Player, Coaching Staff, Front Office, Ownership, etc

Was their really any doubt Recchi would come back to work for Mario AND Rutherford at the same time?

Or how about Guerin being acquired to fill the spot on Sid's wing that Recchi could no longer... And then Recchi coming in and taking Guerin's old job after Bill gets a promotion?

Who was the bigger problem in 05/06; Recchi or Leclaire?

Attaboy Doc, this had to come out sometime. This was one of the first "cancer in the room" moments.....

I'm looking forward to Adams being hired, while the HOF committee lets him twist in the wind for a few years centuries.

I know he came back the next year, after being traded to GMJR's Carolina Hurricanes none-the-less, and played well with the group we had. I also know to not believe media accounts about the locker-room, but I have to think that there is some truth to those rumors. There was on-ice evidence; Sid's first year in the league, none of the "older" guys jumping to protect him when he was being harassed by Forsberg, etc.

I was never a huge Recchi fan, especially after the 05/06 season, and when they brought him back I was thinking wtf. We'll see how this pans out. I can't say I'm pleased with the moves we've made this off-season at all.

Recchi is a Pittsburgh boy and always has been -- even when he played for Philly and Montreal. I see no problem with this move.

Now LeClair...there's your problem. Takes out Malkin in his first game here, then goes on to destroy the locker room. Philly blood all the way through! :)
