Fleury has done that several times this year refusing to put his left pad on the ice when facing a shot. Makes an easy save with proper technique turn in to a goal beachside you are a head case.

He is rarely being beat on the goals because he's out of position, he is taking himself out of the play because his technique is **** this year.

At a rink so I'm missing the game, but the thing I've noticed this season is Fleury seems to be playing small. Particularly glaring when compared to Murray.

In life, timing is everything.

My time was taken by volunteering, something I've done for 22 years. Sorry for missing the first bit of the game.

I wasn't questioning your time usage. I was basing it on your posting timing.

Noodles just referred to him still moving as he was trying to make the save. Once again over committing and not being calm in net. Something he was better at last year.

Defenseman CF% after 1 period.

Letang - 81.25
Dumoulin - 78.57
Cole - 75.00
Schultz - 63.64
Daley - 46.67
Maatta - 28.57

Maatta and Daley's struggles continue. Maatta looks to go 6 games in a row below 50%.

Where do you find these period-by-periods CF% stats?

3 goals against, 9 saves. That's pretty good.

Get the hook!

It feels like we haven't seen Murray in forever, and there's zero reason for that.

Was there any doubt that Ottawa would score on their first power play? Garbage.

So... Fleury plays small in net most of the time now a days, but a puck that goes up and over he comes out for?

I still don't understand why this coaching staff refuses to give Murray more starts.

Not as nice as Fleury?

They're obviously worried about hurting feelings. That's the only thing you can think of. My god, they're lowering his trade value everytime they start him.

The "Let's display Fluery's prowess for a trade" plan is kinda falling apart. It's early though, it could get worse.
