I nodded off mid period. Jones mentioned a Reaves hit on Chara. Was a big hit ? Would have liked to have seen the replay...

Letang shoots into shin pads to help cause a breakaway. And Cole is the scratch.

Nice that McAvoy got two free shots on Ryan Reaves without a call, then Bruins go up and get a break away and a goal.

Reaves and McAvoy collided into the zone, they got up, McAvoy tried to lay a big, somewhat late hit on Reaves, and McAvoy took the worst of it. Then while getting up, McAvoy high sticks Reaves in the head....not intentional, but careless. Ref looks at the whole sequence. I remember why I almost shut the NHL off a week ago.....

The "missed" high stick on Reaves didn't help either.

Could have called interference too. Lots of crap missed there.

It wasn't missed, the ref was staring right at it, but in typical NHL fashion, he didn't want to influence the outcome, which of course is exactly what he did.

The goal call here is entirely different than the Cul final where the whistle blew and then they took a shot.

Can't believe pierre included Ron Hainsey missing as part of the Pens swoon. Maybe because of the guy that replaced him.

Well he would certainly help on the PK which is a huge issue as of late.

Maybe Rust should ditch the cheesy 70s porn star moustache.

Yes I'm not sure why that's something Doc wouldn't understand and it just adds fuel to the fire of the morons in Nashville that think otherwise.

"Technically after the whistle blew?"

No Doc, nothing F'ing technical about it. It WAS after. Admit it, you were wrong.

Funny. Doc just made a clarification.

Don't worry about Nashville fans. I'm sure none of them are watching.

Pee-Air's opinions mean nothing to me. It's just bloviations from someone who wants so much to be relevant.

In the meantime, the Pens are so lackadaisical. They only gave up FOUR goals instead of their traditional FIVE. They're makin' progress..... :face:
