Gave up 2 in the first 2 minutes with everyone standing around waving sticks instead of taking bodies.

Taking lots of goals against, trouble scoring.
Yes, defence is that bad right now.
Yes, we're leaking goals all over.

People that need to come up big aren't. I can count on one hand the contributions to attempted scoring from Crosby and Malkin. I realise Geno scored and Crosby picked up an assist, but that's about all from 'em all game. Only Kessel seems on top of his game. Defensively I don't know where to begin. Switched out Jarry for DeSmith but we're not backing up our goaltenders. Tang, Cole, Hunwick not looking good. Dumo, Määttä, Ruhwedel mostly invisible.

Also, referees are using the Canadian rulebook tonight for icings and some other things. This is however in no way meant as excuse. It's only annoying to watch.

Oh and Sheahan scored a pretty one.
