Credit to [redacted] for the sweet Pens-centric pic.

Pens vs Knights, a 5-4 win

Something good: Fleury!

Where they need improvement: Fleury!

Something good: Fleury!

OK, for real this time...

Something good: In the credit where credit's due file, Ryan Reaves had a good game, even outside of the goal. He was over 10 minutes for just the third time this year (they lost the other 2) thanks to injuries taking Rowney and Kuhnhackl out, and he was positive on the possession front. If you discount the injured Kuhnhackl, he has the second best CF% on the team at 64.71. Only Sheahan (who made a nice play on Reaves' goal) was better.

Where they need improvement: The power play was awful, especially early. How a group this good can look that bad (both units too!) is beyond me, but I guess everyone can have an off night.

Something good: Took a bit to get going, but another great performance out of the big 3. Malkin (1+1), Crosby (0+2), and Kessel (1+1) all had 2 point games. Malkin was really engaged, galloping around the ice, stealing pucks. Crosby embarrassed McNabb twice on the same shift with a ridiculous display of strength and puck control, I think the shift before the Kessel goal. Great even strength performance form all 3.
