'17-'18 Playoff Matchups

Postby Big Easy Pens Fan on Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:19 am

The NHL changed the playoff matchups last year from the scheme they were using previously. Anyone know if that matchup scheme is going to be the same as it was in '17-'18? And, if so, what was that matchup schedule? I never cound figure it our since it changed. I guess it was confusing because it didn't make any sence, at lteast to me. Thanks.

Okay, I found it on the net...duh. :face: This is how the teams match up in today's standings. And you can check up whenever you like because it updates on a daily basis. :fist:

A bit off your original topic, but the stunner in your link are the Blackhawks, who have to pass 4 teams to get in.

They are playing some bad hockey lately...like 1 regulation win in their last 11 or 12 games. They are pretty much out barring a miracle. And they are up there in cap. It would be in their best interest to sell and shed salary and try to rebuild for next year and on.

Yeah, they're toast. It's one thing to be 13 points out of contention, it's quite another to have the four teams ahead of you to tank at the same time.
