This calls for a stupid and futile gesture on someone's part.

Was that before the nuclear bombs on Berlin and Dresden or after?

Is it too late to tank for Dahlin?

And we are going to use our great center depth to have one of them play LW because Sheary and Rowney suck

Unless we get the top 10 picks overall, yes.

Maybe it's selective memory but I don't recall the Pens getting pushed around like that all season.

I'm coming up with two positives:

Jordan Staal was back in the lineup tonight for Carolina.

Pittsburgh's remaining schedule isn't that tough (Montreal three times, Islanders twice, etc.).

The team looks to have lost focus since the trades and perhaps got too overconfident. It's a bad three game stretch and they will undoubtedly refocus. The panic is ridiculous.

Exactly.

If you're not ridiculous and overreacting, how else will you prove you're a fan?

I stuck out the entire game.

I just left the game and whatever mojo we had from January 1st thru last week is ancient history. We were absolutely terrible in every way. And dispite 87 being completely invisible and the non existent defensive coverage...what stood out to me more than anything was the lack of anything physical by anyone not Carter Rowney. This team looked afraid and avoided contact at all costs....and there were turnovers, icings and crap passes all night that all came as a result of Pen players trying to avoid Bruins. I think Cole and Reaves had a bigger presence than anyone here gave them credit for.

Not that you cant fault the goalies on all goals, at least Olli tried to make up for injuring Matt...

and Oleksiak could fight, instead of Reaves, for whatever that is worth.

Looks like the team chemist had a bit of a setback.

Fan base went on a 180 swing from last week.

I remember it took Marian Hossa a fair amount of games before he produced consistently. Brassard still learning names.
The veterans have to remember it may be easy at times for them to win, but it is hard to fight for every puck and to be discipline. That's what it takes to win series.
Keep the faith!

I didn't watch a single second of the game last night... so as far as i am concerned, it didn't happen.

I wouldn’t blame it on team chemistry, just poor execution across the board.

I got a bit caught up being unhappy with their performance last night but then remembered the eggs they laid late in the season last year. I'll give the team, Sully, and GMJR the benefit of the doubt. Two in a row should buy them that at least.

Still sucked to watch that performance last night but in 82 games it happens.

While I do not disagree with their lack of execution, the chemistry sucks.
