Fastest Skater: Connor McDavid, 81% of the vote. (Grabner 2nd with 3.6%)
Most Difficult Goalie to Score on: Carey Price 41% (Quick 2nd with 12.1%)
Most Difficult Player to Play Against: Sidney Crosby 29.9% (McDavid 2nd at 23.7%)
Toughest Player: Ryan Reaves 44% (Lucic 2nd at 14.8%)
Most Underated : Nick Backstrom 8.6% (Jaden Schwartz 2nd 6.8%......guessing there was a wide variety of answers for this one)
Player that is Best Role Model: Sidney Crosby 33% (Toews 2nd at 9.6%)
Player picked to Start a Franchise: Connor McDavid 48.6% (Crosby 2nd at 23.8%)

I am shocked the NHLPA included the toughest player in their poll. Everyone knows ..... er ...... the experts know ........ that toughness in the NHL is an inessential attribute. It is so 1970's. What were they thinking?

Just because there aren't as many fights doesn't mean that there can't be a fight, and fighting is a scary thing. When Reaves is on the ice, I just can't believe other players aren't fully aware of what that could mean.
