Losing this series at this point would be on par to Bylsma in 2014 losing to the Rags after being up 3-1 and in full control then forgetting how to play hockey three straight.

Very embarrassing, but the 1975 3-0 series lead blown to the Isles is still #1 with me.

Me too. Scoreless game 7 until Ed Westfall scores with 5 minutes left in the 3rd period. Me, sitting in section D24 (gasping).

Yes, this one was quite difficult for me as well. I was only 10 years old so it hurt even more. I do remember listening to that game on the radio with Mike Lange.

In the metro- it was even. Both series rounding about even.Sometimes it like it is 2008 all over~ no cup for this group. Give them credit for having been in this position before and being able to learn from it.

The clearing attempt thing is real- 1st goal, Letang had all kinds of time to make the simple play-puck out.
On the 2nd goal, never good to see Letang facing Murray, looking for the puck. That goal was the breaker.

Coach Sullivan~ will get them right. Sheary has all kinds of fight and jump; would not surprise me to see him with Sid. I would try Carl with Brassard and Rust with Evgeni.
Handshakes in Philly!

I totally agree. That also still haunts me.

Don’t know if this has been stated earlier, if it’s any consolation, Colorado beat the Predators in Nashville last night. So I guess **** happens.

You shouldn't call people kids on the internet when you don't know how old or how big they are ;)

The problem with having a week off between playoff games is you enter the next series flat. While I'd have rather closed it out on Friday night, there are worse things in the world than having to play today. 2009 we played Philly on the road for game 6. Good things happened.
