Brassard back. Murray in net. Sprong might actually play too.

I think Sprong will only play if Hornqvist injured himself enough in warmups....doubtful.

Finally! Rust should be next if he doesn't start contributing.

Sprong will more than likely be treated for butt sores from ridin' the pine.

Well, when you're playing a powerhouse like Ottawa on the road, you just have to hope you can weather the early storm.

Something I have suspected for a few games that I am trying to loosely track tonight.....Penguins zone entries. Specifically, how successful are they at even strength carrying the puck over the line, versus having to dump into the zone and chase for the puck.

So far through the game, I have not seen a single successful carry into the zone by the Penguins. I think this is an underlying issue with their lack of offense. In past seasons, they have used their speed to come up ice and gain the zone. Now, everything seems to be a dump, or they try to carry into the zone and aren't successful, either getting stuffed, or having the puck knocked away from them and still having to chase.

How many seasons of instruction in "shoot more" does a team need before the message sticks? Seven? Eight?

That should be 2 minutes to Letang for scoring.

Blame that one on Kessel, and a lil bit of Geno. Kessel giveaway, Geno goes to the man who Dumoulin already has covered and leaves Thachuk open. Kessel is also on controller disconnected mode coming back and also doesn't bother to pickup Tkachuk.

When Hornqvist said playing better starts next with Ottawa, did he mean this game, or the December 8th game against Ottawa? I'm confused.

If this team doesn't want their coach fired they aren't acting like it.
