Trying to think about it more objectively, I'd say wait until Crosby gets back, and they hopefully get a stretch of games with Crosby and Brassard healthy. Maybe scratch Cullen for Blueger. If that doesn't work in a couple weeks, make another trade and start feeling out Quenneville. If things still don't improve in another couple weeks, bring in Quenneville to replace Sullivan.

But but but he's clutch!

Who is the prize this draft year and are they good enough to merit tanking?

Think Murray has likely officially lost the job as #1 netminder and it will be DeSmith going forward for a while. I've been a huge fan of Murray but I'm off the bandwagon. He had a great run in two playoffs but the clock has struck midnight.

Well, a little bit of good news is that the PK is now 3/3 after getting torched last game.

I really have always been confused by what people saw in Murray. I never thought he was a quality goalie and kept wondering what I was missing as fans, management, the league all kept talking about how great he was.

Rutherford seems to be on record saying coaching isn't an issue. He really sounds like he'd trade half the team away before he'd can Sullivan.

I think something will happen much sooner than a couple of weeks. This is game #10 in a row without a goal from "bottom 6." Rust's goal against Calgary on October 25th was the last one.

Jack Huges, and yes he is that good, but, he's a center, and too good to be a 3C for more than a year.

This team is what you get when you use high draft choices to bring in guys for a playoff run each and every year. It lacks high end talent because we never have round 1 or 2 draft picks to make. This team is older, slower, and now more stupid!

Schultz should be back by the end of December, no? Still plenty of time to figure this out.

End of January at the earliest, likely mid February.

Woof...that was horrible. Maatta with the bad giveaway to cap it off, but that was a bad PP all the way around.
