I know that one of the bubble teams picked will get the No 1 pick. The rest from there are seeded 9-15, what seed does pittsburgh get?

If we end up on the 9-15th picks what prospects are out there? I only really know about the main guy AL.

Looks to be a forward heavy draft for the first 15 picks. Probably only two defensemen go in that range, Drysdale and Sanderson (Geoff's son), with maybe a Russian goalie, Askarov, thrown in.

its either 1 or 15, nothing in between. The lottery is for first and the rest are based off regular season standings. Of which the pens had the best record of the qualifying round teams.

If the Pens do end up keeping their pick at 15, I think they should take a chance on Lapierre. He's had concussion issues but also has great upside.

1-15 draft positions to be announced tomorrow night? After those are slotted, will the 2020 playoffs have to end to find out the remaining seeding? What date can trades begin? When does Free Agency begin?

In general, has the NHL released a simple calendar of league events for the off-season?

Trades can begin now, it’s just that any new players are not eligible to play in any games as rosters are set, at least that’s how it’s been in the past. So the Pens should be able to start setting up trades and maybe even make some as soon as they figure out what direction they want to go.

I'd stay away from guys coming out of Portland (Jarvis) just based on our recent draft history of players from that team (Morrow and Pouliot).

I've been looking into Braden Schneider a lot, and, I really like what I see. He's not going to wow you with offense, but, he has a good shot, likes to move down to the circles to take shots, he's a great passer, and likes to play a physical game. From different rankings I see, Jake Sanderson and Jamie Drysdale are pretty much NHL ready now. Schneider and Guhle would be the next level, maybe needing another year, 2 at the most before being NHL ready.
