The ducks are initiating these penalties by holding the pens sticks and getting away with it.................

Thorburn scored from Malkin and Crosby at 10:49. Looks like the under was the smart play.

The Pens need to settle down a bit. Aggression is good, but they can't keep taking penalties. Anaheim has a really good power play.

Plus, all these penalties have allowed Anaheim to take over momentum.

I'm sorry, Net, but there's only so much they can do with the crap being called right now.

The lousy Thiabault kickout looked like a Fleury-esque rebound.

We're being outshot 90-2 for the period, and it's Thibault's fault when it's in the net?

After seeing the Moore penalty again, I don't see how he didn't take the Duck off for a dive. Moore let go of his stick 2 or 3 strides before that guy flopped to the ice. Moore deserved a call, but that guy deserved a dive IMO.

Makes the PPG by Perry a bit more bitter.

I wonder if the tic tac calls will stop now that the game is tied. Its like we are playing the Aneheim Angels here or something, these guys don't get called for anything.

Actually, he wasn't. Whitney blows, but Therrien switched to a diamond because the Ducks were embarrassing us on the PP. Whitney was in position for the diamond.

The Penguins are basically giving the game away to the Ducks.

When you take 8 some odd penalties in one period and absolutely refuse to clear the puck of the zone effectivley, you might as well not even play the third period.

Yeah, that was a bad Thibualt rebound, but does anyone know what Ryan Whitney was doing out there? All I see is the puck go to a wide open winger down low and Whitney skate in 4 seconds after the puck goes in. It looked like we were playing a diamond, but you have to account for the guy down low. You can't play on the top of the circle. Not that it matters, a PPG was due sooner or later.

As I speak, Thorburn takes a dumb penalty.

I thought the Penguins played a good first, but if they're going to sit in the box all night you might as well forget it.

It'll take a few good shifts to even get a semblance of this momentum back.
