does this team even watch tapes b/c sometimes it just doesn't seem like it or else somethings seem like they would be diff. just jumping the wagon again here(sarcasm is alive and well here) and as i type Recchi gets his goal so maybe

I'm NO Whit fan, but Staal is building a track record of folding under the pressure. Simple things, taking a pass, knowing if the puck is even still on his stick, he's blown a few of his own tires.

Not that Staal couldn't have done better with it, but I thought the pass was a little behind him.

They can't very well trade Thibault when they don't have a viable alternative for a backup goalie... and no, they aren't going to get a goalie better than Thibault in a trade that involves him unless they give something else up. Any tradable assets this team has needs to be spent on more pressing concerns than goaltending.

Dagny I agree. But that could have been a shot that even if it doesnt go in, there are three guys there for a rebound.
