They're hustling so far tonight, I like it.

I'd love to see what would happen if Orpik scored a goal.

Boy, the Carolina crowd doesn't like Orpik much, do they? :D Orpik is getting booed more than people at the Igloo boo Hatcher or Jagr.

Every time Ryan Whitney has a shooting opportunity in the offensive zone from the top of the circle he passes it up for a diagonal pass down low to the other side. 75% of the time that leads to either a turnover or a totally busted play.

Someone punch him in the face and tell him to shoot the damn thing once in awhile.

Ok, does Crosby have a bet about having a good shooting % or what?

PLEASE SID, BE MORE SELFISH SOMETIMES!!

He has a wicked shot, he scored some "goal-scorer" goals last season.

Exactly! Which is why he needs to shoot more!

Why? If he shoots it you will just say shooting it was a bad play.

All I have to say about that call on Crosby is that they better be calling it that way all game.

Let's play 'How many goals will Cole and E. Staal combine for here?'

Not really. But thanks for trying.

The play he made in Tampa was bad because there was no one to recover.

5 on 5 or on the power-play, from that position, is a different story. I didn't criticize Whitney at all for his play in either of the last two games. He's done well so far tonight, too. I'm just making an observation about his habits in that situation.

Calm it down, champ. :)

Sad thing is, if he goes 6 inches lower and gets Staal's stick instead of his gloves, its a good play.

An unlucky bounce and the Pens are down 0-1.

Thibault is so slow when trying to recover, once he is out of position there is absolutely no hope. has he EVER made an acrobatic save? Ever?

T-Bo had no chance on that, it was just a bad bounce off of Whitney's skate.

Does'nt matter! Why would you even DO that? This is why the Penguins are lossing games against good teams, they take needless undisciplined penalties. It isn't just Talbot.

Lets just say the refs are being very picky, as long as they call the Canes when the put a stick on us, I'll be happy.

Something tells me I'm not going to be very happy.

I saw stick on stick. It looked as if he lifted Staal's stick, Talbot's stick slid to Staal's gloves. If that is a penalty, it needs to be called more consistently... but then there would be a penalty almost every shift.

He never has any chance when he is caught out of position. I'm not suggesting Marc-Andre would have gotten a peice of that, I'm suggestiong that he would have at least had a chance at getting to that, Thibault barely exerts himself in those situations.
