I disagree. Take away LeClair's blunder and the bad penalties and they are playing well vs. the best team in the league. If they werent playing hard it would be 6-0.

Unfortunately Sid is left to take care of the offense himself.

I think Sidney loves the hostility. Or at least he acts like it.
He makes a better villain than hero.

Nice to see Sid shoot it. His last trip up the ice, the d-man on his side cheated off to cover the pass and gave him an open skating lane to the net and Sid passed to Armstrong anyhow.

Sabres. Just can't stand them gloating all over the team. All I can say is remember Kasper losers!!!!!

Someone's jealous.

No. They haven't won anything yet. The Canes have but the Sabres haven't. Remember the Presidents Trophy doesn't mean squat in Hockey...They don't scare me and I am only jealous of their overrated record, not their team.

Oh yeah, let's not forget to mention the great pass by Recchi. That's two in two games.

Aside from bad penalty killing, a seeming refusal to shoot on the powerplay, and the inability to generate offense at even strength, I agree with you.

wow buffalo is fast that last shift looked like they were on the pp and they weren't just awesome puck control. maybe MT should tape this game and have the boys watch it tomorrow, buffalo is doing some good things the pens could learn from them.

Indeed. He was FLYING on that play, his speed made it all possible.

TSN ( I think it's Glen Healy) announcer said Sid plays better with a "burr in his saddle".

He also pointed out that Tbo has only 1 win in 2 yrs. Of course, then he said it's gonna stay that way if he doesn't learn to control his rebounds better.
