Hopefully EC and Malkin can get something going. I'd love to see some friendly competition between Crosby and Malkin to see who can put on a better show.

I haven't noticed Melichar at all on the ice tonight and that's a very good thing. Unless of course his ice time is like 2:00.

Well at least Colby like the Cheese got the monkey off his back with two goals so far. Nice passes by Sid both times. IMO, Malkin's looking pretty good tonight.

I was adamant not to get my hopes up about Sid last year. Y'know, not give in to the hype, make him earn my respect?

That kid is the real deal!!! I'm so proud to have him on this team. What an amazing kid! Welcome back Sid! We missed you!

He's really amazed me this year. Not just his game, but his poise. He's really matured, keeping his composure. Being a leader.

I was sold after the "With Teeth" goal in Philly. Nice hit on blake too. :lol:

When the Pens were out here my friend noticed that if Malkin gets knocked around enough, it really throws him off. He made the comment that other teams are going to pick up on and just hit him as much as possible. Errey commented something to the effect of that being the Isles game plan, to hit Malkin as much as possible. Could Tim have been right?

Addendum: I do think Malkin will get over it.

Absolutely, it's obvious that he is about 25 pounds light for the NHL, all of those little bumps that are knocking him around will be ignored in acouple of years. Malkin is going to be a monster out there, unstoppable, they better get their licks in now.
