Check out this idiot's letter entitled 'Bad Mixture':

This lady thinks its a bad idea to mix gambling with professional sports. Why does the PG always publish letters from people who don't do any research on the topic on which they write? No wonder this paper is going under and can't turn a profit.

Letters like this make the opposition look so stupid that they are going to start losing respect. This woman is just a moron. If she can explain to me how slot machines have anything to do with betting on games, then I would be glad to listen.

WOW, I love going to the casino and placing my sports bet with the one arm bandits. She is just uneducated about the whole casino thing. Bad thing is, there are alot of people who are also uneducated about the plan that will read that and think " this lady has a point". It amazes me how many people write letters like this without knowing the facts.

Who didn't see that coming? Any educated person can differentiate between a slots parlor, a casino, and a sportsbook. And if they don't already know, they can certainly learn the differences with little effort. However, the majority of people (at least of the vocal ones) don't know or don't care to know. There are many more uneducated people like this out there.
