Gonchar Rips Gretzky and Company

Postby Mad City Mike on Thu Feb 23, 2006 2:54 pm

Okay, not exactly "rips," but takes them to task for not having Crosby on the team.

The big ice would be an advantage for a guy like him. He has great speed, great vision.

Gonchar was asked to comment on the absence of Crosby in light of Canada's obvious lack of offence in the Olympic hockey tournament.

"It's not my decision," he said, rolling his eyes, clearly not agreeing. "He is a good power-play player."

why he's almost M Therrien-like!

For Segei's sake hope the year isn't a total bust for him; hope
he gets his gold. He'll be as giddy as a school-girl upon
his return.

Very Therrien-like, in fact, 55 was chainsmoking when giving the interview and kept saying "pfft" while rolling his eyes.
