Oops. Because of the hastiness and me still being sleepy, I forgot to tell them the most important part of this new role.

Oh well... lesson learned, eh? Sometimes players you like to vote off, even thg, are going to be green players you may actually need to keep around, so you might wanna hear from them, first.

facepalms don't help bring a green RP back. And then those of us that suggest waiting to hear from the bandwagonee are lambasted as slowing things down. It's a no-win situation...

Although I have to admit, that Dags, having claimed green but turned out red in some cases before, would have had people skeptical of her claim from the get-go. It's a factor of past game play affecting future games - it happens.

Which is why we keep reiterating to stop referring to previous games to decide what to do in the current game.

Last game I was red. I made my claims in the game thread to stay alive.

This game, which is not last game, I made my statement after I was confirmed green, which is not the same as the red that I was last game, cuz... y'know, this game is not last game, and last game was not the game before, and......................

I wasn't even able to muster up a fight I was so sleepy. But I'm really mad at myself for forgetting to tell the village what I should have, before I died. I'm so used to having restrictions on divulging stuff, I didn't think about it til it was too late.

Hopefully what people were posting that led up to my death will help the village, er prisoners, er whatever.

Took awhile, but someone finally decided to look @ the roles page I suggested.

So is it common for the games to be set up where the roles are not defined before hand?

Just reviewing this game thread and some of the prior ones where the roles are known, it seems like a very different dynamic.

Either way, I think I'm going to be hooked, so, I hope you all are not burning out yet.

It varies by game. Some reveal the roles and some do not. It kinda depends on theme / mods.

From what I've read about that role, the player is NOT told that they are a "naive" doctor.
