All the toadstools had gathered for the annual Mushroom Festival. As they awaited the arrival of their beloved Princess, those crazy plumbers entertained with a dance and song. Luigi was about to take a big solo when the Pricness finally fortunately arrived.

But seldom do these poor fungi get to celebrate in peace... and such was the case this night. Without warning, Bowser's airship fleet descended on the party and left it in smoking ruins. He tried to grab the Princess but Mario was quick on his feet and pulled her to safety.

Bowser growled and swore revenge on the plumbers for interfering with his grand scheme. The frightened toadstools scurried into their homes and prayed the day would come soon.

LITT was cowering in his home when he heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" he inquired. "The princess" a gravelly voice responded. He should have known better, but he had consumed a bit too much wine so he opened the door, only to find Bowser waiting. A blast of fire and he was reduced to ashes.
