Seems like not participating at all I any discussion is the way to go. And people wonder why democracy does not work.

The way Warz works at least, once you participate, you are a target. If you stay silent, you can usually last to the last few rounds.

Yeah, it's tough to get them early though, but by the end of the game it's an "Ah-ha" moment. For some reason, the mantra "First poster gets lynched" lurks in the back of everyone's mind.

The formula has held true for the games I've modded and participated in. This game, I wanted to see if I could lend any credence to it, and as soon as I talked, I was on my way to getting voted out.

I'm generally the same way. In games where I've been busy/had other issues to attend to ( ), I've survived until nearly the last round. Then once I realized I was still in it and alive, I started trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together whilst flipping through 20 + pages of warz to look for hints. Unfortunately, that strategy does not work either.

I know the original Mafia party game was invented as a psychological study. I'd be interested to see what that study's findings were.
