We're you just notified of this and you could pick someone or were you assigned another player, and you both could initiate PM-ing with one another?

I was assigned the other player. I was told that I could now talk to that person via PM. There was an emphasis on neither of us knowing the others allegiance.

But you could tell the other what you are (obviously either could lie though). Interesting array of possibilities here.

Which really doesnt make sense if we are both blue.

I know that I am blue, but I'm not sure if the other is Red, Green, or Blue. So I'm a bit hesitant to give the identity of the person I can talk with.

Probably the wrong choice of words for the game thread. I meant that in a quite literal sense. Work has been rough with the heat wave.
This being my second game ever, I'm just as lost on who to throw my vote on the first day as last time.

I don't really like voting for somebody because they don't talk day 1 (knowing how busy 1 day can be). Having said that, sitting for multiple days doesn't seem like it would do the village much good.

So I think I'll lynch rel for now. He practically asked for it when he said he wasn't going to be around much this week 'because of how work turned out yesterday'

He's got a point. I mean, the only power you have is to make your own judgment about this persons innocence on your own. That is, something that won't be compromised if you reveal their identity. Though on the other hand, if you can't substantiate your claim (admittedly a weak red ploy if you were a baddie) it'll give us our suspicions about you.
