WBS Pens get their captain and alternates

Interesting that only one of those is a Penguin draft pick. Also interesting that Filewich was not one of them. He is losing favor quick on this team this year.

If the players voted on this, wouldn't these selections speak more to how impressed that group is with the guys they selected, and less to anyone falling out of favor?

Yes, however, the reason I said that about Filewich is that 2 of the players selected are new to this team. The fact that Filewich wore an 'A' for part of the year last year and that he's now in his 3rd year in the organization should have made him a strong candidate for at least an 'A'. But, his lack of intensity so far this year have really taken him out of contention.

The three players who were chosen have given it their all every night and were good selections.

One other note for you net:
Dennis Bonvie wore an 'A' for the last 2 years, but had it taken away this year. 8-)
