Ryan Lannon signing/or not resigned?

Postby pensfan66 on Tue Jul 08, 2008 9:35 am

Does anyone know anything about Ryan Lannon? Signed or still waiting, he is not listed on Pitts Pens page as "In the System" anymore. Whats up? I didn't catch any news about it but I am far away so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

He's a UFA, but I have no idea if they plan on re-signing him. I think some of the guys who follow the Baby Pens would have a better idea about his future with the organization.

Honestly, this has been one of the best-kept secrets. No one knows. Last year, as an RFA, he waited a long time before signing a 1-year deal.

Its just odd that he's the only player not on the in the system player page. Is there any other RFA's i'm missing? I saw last year he signed at the end of July. The only trade I'll accept with him is to Hershey so he'll be closer to me. I'll have to tell Mr Fletcher that. HAHA

There's reports over on Bombulie's blog that Lannon is gone and the AHL Pens have signed Joey Mormina (which would be another nice signing), but nothing official from JB yet. Apparently Mormina's included on PIT's payroll over at NHLnumbers.com or one of those cap sites...stay tuned

That sucks! Lanno is underrated in my opinion. He's not flashy but solid, extremely cerebral D-man. WBS will miss him if he's gone. Where u from K2? I'm from Lancaster also.

Hempfield area, are we rivals? Township or Warwick grad?

Warwick, so we're rivals but we can agree on disliking Township 8-)
