Rimouski Oceanic forward Keven Veilleux and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles goaltender Olivier Roy were named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's offensive and defensive players of the week Monday.

Veilleux registered three goals and six assists with a plus-four rating in three games last week. The Oceanic star was a model of consistency, collecting three points in each game to lead Rimouski to a 2-1-0 record for the week.

Good to see Veilleux back and contributing after the injury. I don't know what his status is for next year, but hopefully he can get some momentum going during the rest of the way here, have a good summer, and show up looking good in camp.
