He was property of the Pens- there was differnt reports to what happened- Moulson said the Pens never offered him a deal, Pens said they did.

I think the same might be said for Jake Muzzin in a few years not property of the LA Kings. I think he got injured then we never offered him a deal. Then he broke out and chose LA.

It's unfortunate we didn't sign him, but at least there was a legitimate excuse with Muzzin because the kid had a hernia as a 16 year old. Moulson? Well we may never know the real story there. Hindsight is 20/20, but it sure stings today seeing as we passed over our own draft picks and went out and signed guys like Jon D'Aversa and Aaron Boogaard.
