Just to ease the tensions of this board and some if its members, I have a question my gf and I have been chatting about for the past 90 minutes.

What are your two favorite cereals to combine and eat?

Ive come up with Honey Nut Cherios and CT Crunch. My gf is down with Corn Pops and Apple Jacks. Honorable mention to just plain old Corn Flakes with Bananas and Strawberries.

So either mock or participate......

I really like Nature's Path Heritage Grain Flakes with Flax Seed.

Yes, it's organic and healthy. But it's also really tasty.

Edit: Missed the whole combined theme. I've never done that. I like my cereal pure and uncut. LOL

A 90 minute conversation on combining cereals? What kind of **** were you two smoking?

But seriously, in my 40+ years as a consumer of breakfast cereals, it never occurred to me to combine them. You crazy kids...

For the last year or so, Kashi is my only cereal. Cinnamon Crumble or Toasted Berry Crunch.

For a borderline high cholesterol guy like myself, dat soluble fiber is the bomb

I've been exclusively getting the 12 different cereal variety packs for about 2 years straight. That's where my combining career started. I would open a box of something and it it dry as a snack but only half the box. Then when I got an actual bowl, I would just throw the half box from before in.

I can't mix cereals. It's to the point where if I run out of a box of one cereal after I've poured a bowl (or less, on occasion), I just leave it at that and don't try to get another bowl/put a different type in.

Never experimented much with mixing cereals... generally eat a bowl of Special K Cinnamon Pecan on work days. Did try mixing some of that with their Vanilla Almond once to extremely underwhelming effect. I think that was the extent of my attempts at mixing, but I don't really feel the need to do so... I don't have time to f around with that crap in the morning, and a bad combo would be a bad way to start out the day.

Yep 90 minutes and um...no comment on that question. I think combining them is yummy. Ive been eyeing up Sugar Smacks and Capn Crunch with Crunch berries for awhile. The sad thing is, because of my health I cant go overboard. So its like a Saturday special treat.

I let them soak in my reduced fat 2% milk for like 2-3 minutes so they get kinda mushy. So so good...

Now you're up to 3 different cereals. Where does it end, man? Can a bowl of 1 kind of cereal even satisfy you anymore? Or do you only enjoy it now if you combine?
