In retrospect, I should have seen the death of the sherrif coming when he popped up as a major character on The Mentalist.

Wife just watched the finale since she couldn't stay up last night, and I heard her yell Holy **** from the living room when

Gemma killed Tara
. She also cried like crazy at the end.

I know I was the president of the Kill Tara bandwagon, but yeah I almost felt bad for her at the end there. Almost.

I enjoyed the whole episode, I enjoy slow builds and tension and this episode had plenty of that.

So I'm assuming Jax is gonna get framed for the murder now since he dropped the gun when he went into the kitchen and I'm assuming the gun Juice used was of the same type and caliber. Sets up next season very nicely. We shall see.

Yeah but no bullets are out of Jax's gun, plus coroners can tell time of death by temperature of the liver which would also clear Jax. There's not framing going on if reality is part of the show.

If they seriously try to push the framing angle, the show will jump the shark for me. They should be able to easily prove he wasn't the shooter.

Kind of interesting that they showed that homeless lady in the alley right after Juice disposed of the evidence... that is likely to come into play. (plus might explain why they focused on her earlier this season)

I do have to say for a season finale I feel like it was a big disappointment. I dunno, maybe I have too high of expectations for the show. Kurt Sutter seems like a d-bag in read life btw just from his mannerisms and how he talks. Like the I'm so effin smart and look at you puppets dance cause I'm so awesome.

Honestly don't think there's any framing going on - if that's even a shred of a story next season it will be for about 15 mins of the first episode.

For a minute, I thought Juice was going to tell Jemma to run and take the fall for everything - self imposed torture (jail). Will be interesting to see how that all plays out. But man, when Jax finds out about Gemma - and he will - that will be an episode for the ages.

Gemma has now contributed to or is directly responsible for the death of Jax's father and wife... Oh, yeah, sparks are gonna fly.

Significantly less interested in the Mayan stuff.

I'm kind of bummed the show is coming to an end, though I guess I'm not sure how much more stuff they could do at this point. One of my favorite shows of all times, and Opie's death/wake is still hard for me to watch to this day.

Interested to see if the prequel ever gets off the ground.

Edit I read that wrong, I think we are talking about the same episode. I thought you meant the last episode of season two, not the first.

Spoiler:
I read it the first time as the last episode of season 2.. aka abduction of Abel, not the first episode of season 2.. aka Gemma getting raped.

Spoiler:
Looking back, the abduction episode is one of the most difficult to watch. Mainly because it sets up that awful Season 3 where everything fun stops to hunt for that dumb kid in Ireland.

Honestly that scene was tough too. Now as a parent I think it would be even harder to watch.
