Walking Dead was my GTOY last year.

I am just reading the reviews now...I'm not sure how I missed this game? Normally the critically-acclaimed stuff is on my radar right away, but somehow I completely overlooked this one. (Maybe because it was lost in a lot of the Dead Island hype?).

What style of game is it?

Interactive story. A heavy rain or indigo prophecy like, also like the recent Back to the Future game that game out about a year ago. If story and characters are important, than this game is a great pickup.

Also, it is not based on the show but based on the comic. Just fantastic.

Finally finished Lego Batman 2 100%. The game was pretty good IMO.

Started Metroid Other M finally. I got through the first part and saved at the beginning of Sector 1. I have about 10% items collected.

twc, how long will this one take? I think I asked you before. I have about an hour invested already. A lot of cutscenes and story flashbacks in the first part. Does that continue?

Also, you are right, it kind of sucks having to go to 1st person mode in some boss battles. Just takes away the flow.

Hope to complete this, and will probably pick up Lego LOTR before I move onto the 2 Zelda games for the Wii.

No idea how long it took. And yeah, the cutscene stuff continues throughout. Note that there a decent number of items you can't get until later in the game, particularly in the first couple areas. You won't be able to access it again until very late in the game.

I can't see a Lego spider-man being worth it. There are a large number of people that get those games for the enjoyment of swinging around New York City.

I got The Walking Dead Survival Instinct, I know they said the game isn't too good but, my love of the show and interest in the game overcame that.

Yes sir, same here. I got it at Gamestop, for $50, I traded in MLB The Show 12 and found an old gamestop card with $ on it. Only paid $18 for it. I figure I will play through it once and even if it's not that good it looks good next to The other Walking Dead game and my seasons of Walking Dead 1 and 2.

Thanks. I got 8 missles, an energy tank, and an energy piece so far.

The cutscenes that are related to the actual gameplay aren't too bad yet, the ones where you talk to the troopers and get briefings, but when Samus flashes back to her past, it has already gotten boring.

The opening scene though with the last fight at the end of Super Metroid was awesome though.

I haven't tried co-op or multiplayer yet, but I think I will. I'm now playing around with the map editor...and I think I may be addicted. I've been on the same map for 3 hours, and haven't made much real progress. I have a waterfall, and a crater lake.......that's about it.

I just finished Act II of Max Payne 3. Really, really fun game. The gameplay is a ton of fun. One of the reasons that I love MP is that it tends to be more difficult than other shooters. You really have to utilize and budget bullet time to get through sections.

I have trouble getting into BioShock. I liked the first one well enough, but just stop playing it after a while. I have restarted it like 4 or 5 times and get to what I assume is about 3/4 of the way through and then quit. Oh well.
