So what is the best strategy with the stock market?

1.) Buy stocks referenced by Lester in heists
2.) Buy stock in one company
3.) Destroy products made by the competing company
4.) Profit

Seem about right? Think I also saw someone reference buying ammunition stocks before big missions that will require a lot of lead slinging.

Open hardware beta - for 300 people - will happen this year.

I usually sell my stocks about 10 minutes after I complete the mission where I take out a competitor. I have not done the ammunition stocks though, but I certainly am going to try.

then we're about in the same ballpark, I'm at the other part of the mission where you need to find the helicopter.

Pro tip on the helicopter mission without giving away too much detail: remember the tips that Ron gave you earlier when flying the plane.

definitely 10 minutes of real time seems to max out the money earned after the lester missions....waiting longer severely drops the stock back to earth.

Valve's Second Big Reveal is a Steam Box Prototype with Third Party Steam Machines to Follow
Just one more announcement to go

Valve just followed up its SteamOS announcement from earlier this week by unveiling what it calls "Steam Machines," a new category of living room hardware designed to get you playing PC games on the big screen. There will be different hardware to choose based on your needs and budget, details of which will be unveiled at a later time. In the meantime, Valve has designed a high-performance prototype and plans to ship 300 of them to beta testers, free of charge.

The third announcement would likely be Half Life 3. It's what I would do.

There's a reason I don't even bother to start with it.

What, you got a job? A family? A life? You think you're better than us? Is that it?

Spoiler:

Why yes, of course.

In all seriousness, I lack the self-discipline to restrict myself to, say, 1 or 2 hours a day.

I dont have that discipline, but my wife does so, if I play more than an hour she starts complaining and its no fun playing if she is nagging me.

I've somehow had the self-discipline/self-control to not buy the game yet.

However, that may change after my physiology exam on Friday.

If GTA V is anything like the prior games, then it's one of those "Oh crap it's 4:00 am!" games, just like WoW or Skyrim or Civ or (as I have found) Kerbal Space Program. I wonder if anyone makes a countdown timer that delivers an electric shcok when it hits zero. That might be enough to get me out of a Skyrim trance.

I am enjoying being back in Skyrim. The one-year break I took was enough time for the DLC to come out and plenty of new mods to be added, and it's almost like a new game all over again. I also purposely did not play through some questlines the first time through, like the Thieves Guild quests. I'm now finishing those up. I really like the crossbows that were added in Dawnguard. Twang!

thats a fun mission. pro-tip: dont skimp on any heist members. its worth the investment.

I quickly found this out in the first heist. My hacker was good, but my one motorcycle rider wiped out, and the other had no idea wtf he was doing.

I haven't played GTA since Sunday. Just not enough time during the week. The wife will be out of town from Saturday through Thursday and then work all of next weekend. That's when I'll have time.

When Mass Effect 2 came out I was still in college and played until 5 or 6 in the morning, sleep till 11 and then get back at it. Went like that for about a week.

How much is that going to be? I didn't like Wind Waker, but I didn't get that far into it and thats something I can pick up and play for about an hour a day when I get time.
