the wonderful 101 has been on my "to get" list. pretty excited for that.
Xenoblade chronicles for the Wii was one of the most underrated titles, from what ive read online. i think im gonna grip that up as an in-betweener game.

Finally finished up XCOM Enemy Unknown. I really enjoyed it, but that's just me. Started Witcher 2 and have a few hours in it. I think I am going to like it. Seems rather challenging now and hopefully will stay that way. Skyrim just got too easy as I progressed.

Hotline Miami is on Steam sale for $5 this weekend I believe. Interesting and weird game. Soundtrack is pretty fitting.

i'd be careful about buying sim city. im pretty sure that you have to have a dedicated internet connection to save your game or some crap DRM related.

ive heard the beta is an absolute crap show as well.

I did the tutorial for SimCity, and it worked well, but didn't try to get online last night. Seems like they are having server issues today. At any rate, the people that have been able to get in have enjoyed it.

I finally got to play a couple of hours of SimCity, I had no problems getting into the game or performance issues. A lot of the features are locked down, but they give you an hour (replayable) to build a small city. Tangradiville was a bustling little burg full of hope, with gambling and industry. We had a little issue with garbage collection, but the hour ended, and I'll have to start over again. I really wanted to see how working with other cities in the region worked, but it was not available in the beta. Evidently, you can buy power, water, garbage, police and other services from neighboring cities and sell those services back to them, if needed.

I've enjoyed COD since the beginning, even the transition to Modern Warfare, and I thought the first CODBLOPS was absolutely horrible, so I never bothered with II. Keep in mind I play them stricly single-player, but I struggled to even get myself to want to finish the first one. People into that kind of multi-player may feel differently, but single-player wise, it represented everything that is wrong with current generation first-person shooters. Blah.

I didn't think people even played those games single player. I played through the single player in Black Ops and was underwhelmed, but I didn't like the multiplayer either. I actually stopped caring about online shooters sometime after unreal tournament 2000/Halo 2.

Totally agree. I also beat the game and the pirate DLC. Also about half way through the second play through. I will get the next DLC and play some more after they raise the max level. I am currently capped out at level 50. Supposedly the patch to raise the max level will be out soon.
