Second note, just recently Sony (I think it was 77 million consoles) passed Microsoft (76 million) in sales. Impressive really.

Rylan wrote:Its impressive at the late surge the PS3 had. It was almost deemed a failure due to its low launch sales and low sales for the first few years or so. In the years following through good marketing and the system's price drop it was able to eventually catch up to the XBOX and even out the numbers. Even though it should be a draw and Sony should be upset about the launch, over time they were capable of righting the ship and again have a competitive market share. That is impressive.
Reliability will be one of the biggest selling features to those that are on the fence between systems. If both systems maintain high levels of quality while minimizing system failure resulting in the need to replace then we could have a very entertaining sales race.

Very enjoyable, can't wait for the game to drop March 5th. Anyone else getting it?
