I never finished Blaster Master because of that...

Started a game from scratch with Gran Turismo 3: A-spec. Now to reattain all licenses... I don't know how I ever did it.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a site to download Minecraft mods? I don't want to end up getting a virus from someplace I am not sure of. Thanks

My Kerbalnauts all made it back from Duna safely. The three in the lander (Jeb, Bob, and Bill) all splashed down at sea. The transport ship was being piloted by Bumard, so I sent up an unmanned capsule to dock with the transport and had him spacewalk over (the game can’t yet transfer Kerbals through hatches). Once he was safely down, I de-orbited the ship into the ocean. I originally intended to use it for more missions, but even though the design worked it could use a significant redesign.

With an interplanetary mission completed, I decided to mess around more with part mods for the game. The KW Rocketry mod is awesome. It adds a ton of new engines and tanks to the game, including a whole series of tanks and engines larger than the Rockomax-size parts. For example, there an absolutely massive quad-nozzle engine that produces twice as much thrust as a Mainsail. KW Rocketry also includes payload fairings, which are really sweet. The parts look absolutely beautiful too; they look much more like “real” rockets than the stock parts.

Methinks it's getting about that time to play through Fallout New Vegas again. This time, as a bad dude. (I need to do the same with Fallout 3, but damn it I can never bring myself to do it)

Have a buddy who works out with a guy from Naughty Dog. Inside scoop is that "Last of Us" is finally - mercifully - finished and in the bag, and it is apparently quite awesome. (Admittedly, an employee of the developer hardly can be counted on for an unbiased opinion) It's sort of a mix between a rail shooter and an open world environment; you have to go from A-to-B and perform X. However, there might 4, 5, 8 or whatever different ways of navigating between those two places, depending on how you've played the game up to that point.

 Same here. I can just never get past the fact that it would really disappoint your dad (a.k.a. Oskar Schindler and Qui-Gon Jinn). New Vegas leaves much more room to play as a total d-bag.

The DLC for Far Cry 2 was easily worth the $5. Not for the 3 weapons because I don't think I'll be using them, but for the 2 new vehicles. The big (silver) utility truck that seems to have more armor than regular assault trucks, and the ATV that is sooo fun to ride off-road. Those are, by far, my two favorite vehicles in the game.

Far Cry 2 has a major flaw.. well, not really a flaw, more like a choice. All the diamonds you get will not be needed. Those are used as currency to get net weapons and upgrades. Thing is that I got maybe 150 diamonds out of the 1000 in the game so far and at the moment I am not buying anything till Act 2, when a couple new weapons unlock (SAW machine gun and the best sniper rifle). I have upgraded Duranov sniper rifle, PKM machine gun, and the granade launcher and I'm done experimenting. I will not purchase majority of the weapons in the game. I tested the camo outfit long enough to not want to buy it and keep, as it's only good when using silent weapons and being crouched/stationary/in a bush. I will only upgrade 2 types of vehicles. I think 2/3 or even 3/4 of diamonds I get will go to waste.

Are there more changes in the average year to year progression of a MLB 2k/NHL/Madden game or between Left 4 Dead 1 and Left 4 Dead 2? Commentary on the L4D series almost went into the sequels thread.

So I was cleaning some stuff yesterday that my mom left in a shed. I opened up one of the boxes and while digging through the rubble found this box in fantastic condition with all manuals. I have the game up in the apartment. A quick search on ebay/amazon and this game with this condition box is being sold for $499... Holy ****.

can't say I'm surprised, it's 7 months now and the game selection is pretty average. I've used the eshop 95% more than any actual games.

I hope this Far Cry 2 thing starts moving a little faster because I already put in 20 hours and it says I'm only at 16%. Maybe if it wasn't so much fun driving around - they really got that part right - I'd have progressed a little further by now.

Been playing MGS Peace Walker, since it finally came out on PSN. As a bonus, it was on sale for $13.99.

I'm really digging it. It took me awhile to adjust to the new presentation; instead of traditional cutscenes, there are animated comics to narrate the cutscenes. The boss battles make me nervous because they destroy your health in no time, and you can carry a very limited amount of gear. You can only carry 2 guns, and several throwing weapons like grenades and such. I'm constantly running out of ammo, so I have to use an item that requests supply drops. It's very annoying because often I nearly die trying to set it up.

Why are games not immediately available for download when they come out. I would have actually bought the crappy MLB game this year for xbox, but its not available on xbox live, and we're getting to the point where we're 2 months into the season. Its looking like they lost my money.

did the recent update make load times better or is that on the game? I might have asked before, but I forgot.
