Ok, and I'm spent on MW3 multiplayer I think. I am more than 80% certain I won't be paying money for the map packs unless they are out of this world good.

What a lame way to end the series. Honestly.... way too short, way too easy (even on the hardest skill level), and just way too little in general.

Massively disappointed in this game. Gets two stars because the final level ("Dust to Dust") was good and the ending was, admittedly, pretty cool. But for that, this was a solid 1-star gaming experience. I want my money back.

JeffDFD wrote:MW3 single player has been great. A couple new things mixed in with the other fun stuff (AC130, chopper gunner mission)...

The AC-130 was in the first MW game, too.

Yes, and chopper gunner was in the multiplayer...I was referencing those things as the "other" stuff. Ha, release a game with only AC130 missions and I may buy it! OK not really, but its fun. Sorry to see you didn't like it.

Beat every quest worth while in Skyrim,
Save the world storyline(Alduin)
Both sides on the Nordic Rebellion Storyline

Collected all shouts
Got 100 Smithing
Found Daedric Dagger Dual wield is strongest damage
Other 100 skill + full perk trees

Went through all guild quests

I'm officially bored with it

I must say Skyrim is among the best single player games I've ever played. Possibly the best. Either way definitely the most impressive game I've played.

Have you been up for the past 2 weeks?

Edit: Seriously. I thought you were looking at 120 hours or so to tackle everything (as in the main stuff). The game's been out for 10 days.

Played quite a bit of skyrim this weekend. Too many side quests. I think I'm going to power through the main quest stuff. I'm getting that addict feel where I want to maximize my smithing and enchanting and stuff. I just need to skip that and go Conan style through the plot so I can play other games haha.

Ha, I couldn't. I'm at like 80 smithing, 55 enchanting. I mainly quest to fund those habits.

I can't get into Alchemy AT ALL, though.

Got 43% of trophies so far in Uncharted 3. I got the one the other night "headshot expert" where you need "5 headshots in a row" thats not easy for this game since the aiming has been tweaked some.

I just did work on the game. Without really meaning to I just powered through the game. The last 4-5 days I've pretty much played skyrim for absurd amounts of time... its actually shameful

I am pretty upset I can't kill/drive out the thalmor or make myself high king other than that it was extremely good. I almost feel like if oblivion had Skyrim's engine it would have been a better game than skyrim itself

Got MW3. Played for an hour. Console froze. Red light. Unbelievable. :face:

This is the new version of 360 too, which I had to buy because my 5 year old one got the red rings out of warranty (that box's 2nd bout with the red rings). At least this one is covered under warranty, but it's unreal that they still haven't fixed this problem that they've had from day 1.

I'm playing a game called Enslaved: Odyssey To The West. I"m a dude named Monkey and I'm escorting this cute girl back to her home world. Very fun so far. Nice graphics. I like to alternate between a shooter and something else, so this is a nice one. Well, my staff can shoot too, but it's mostly used for melee. There are some mean robots after us!

Finally got my Xbox back, took a side trip to Best Buy to pickup Skyrim on Friday. Excellent game so far, tons of fun, can tell there's way too much going on right now so I'm just muddling through the main quest.

This is how I usually do my RPGs. Play it through barebones, just the game first, then I try to settle down my character, buy them a house/horse/join places, etc. I usually find this best to complete once my main quest is done since I can travel fast to most of them major cities, as well as save up a lot of gold.

Its not hard to make money in this game. In fact, I find the merchants hardly ever have enough money for all the things that I am willing to sell to them. It generally takes me 3 or 4 cities to sell all my loot.

Money?

player.additem 0000000f 10000 = 10k gold. I don't mess around with worrying about looting all the armor and carrying it back and that crap. That is boring to me and I'd just rather give myself money.

Rylan and Godric, what can you tell me about the mechanics of combat? Without seeing numbers I guess I am constantly wondering whether I am maximizing my damage. I am dual wielding glass swords at the moment. Are axes (highest dmg), maces (middle dmg), swords (lowest dmg) designed to basically be about the same when you take weapon speed into account? If I am dual wielding, should I just be alternating swings with each weapon?

I finally committed and dumped a bunch of skill points (had 8 saved up) into something (other than smithing) the other night -- light armor. The difference is pretty noticeable after investing in the armor rating increasing skills.

I figure armor investment is pretty safe. Any other must have skills?
I still want to work on my magic, and I think I will know that I've reached the point I want to with smithing. I find archery to be intolerable, but I have a friend who says that's all he does. What am I missing on archery? It feels way to picky as far as accuracy. I'm always hitting my hireling or missing the mob.

I've had a hard time bothering with the main quest in the game. I think it'll still be sitting out there for a while for me.

I can honestly say I rarely ever use cheats or codes for games. I beat Castlevania 3 from start to finish without them on the higher difficulty (one of my true gaming accomplishments) I used the ID codes in Doom once I beat it. I never saw the need to use codes or cheats.
