Yes, that's right, a socialist "nanny" state. That is what the USA has sadly devolved into. As for wasting money, did you even watch the video clip in my post? As the video clip outlines, the US Government has $53 trillion in UNFUNDED payment obligations (actually, it's now $54 trillion and rising). Of this $53 trillion in unfunded obligations, more than 90% are for social entitlement programs. So, it has very little to do with military spending.

The U.S. military is bigger than the next 22 countries COMBINED. Don't you think there is a slight chance that a little bit of the money spent on the military could be used for education, shoring up our collapsing infrastructure, alternative energy R&D, etc?

I agree that Mckinney is a little out there but honestly, where's the tax payer money?

In 2001, the Pentagon lost 2.1 Trillion dollars. In 2003, they did a little better and only lost 1 Trillion.
