The fact that this thread isn't called "Ya know what really grinds my gears?"

I'm getting really tired of the NBC commercials for that stupid TV show with the girl with super powers. How many times do I have to hear her scream?!

If you are coming up an on ramp to a highway, and I'm in the right lane, if available I will get into the left to let you on. If someone is in the left and I can't get over, it is your responsibility to obey the little upside down triangle and yield the right of way to me.

Guy almost merged right into me at 75 mph today.

Had that happen yesterday with some turd on the Carnegie on-ramp. I didn't have room to move over so I kept with the pace of traffic. If I hit the brakes, I would have had a semi-truck resting his wheels in my back seat.

Why can't Pawn Star's son shake hands like a normal human being? He always swings his arm out like he's swimming every time.

Plates with smooth coatings that make it impossible for plastic wrap to stick to them when you're storing leftovers.

THis Discover Card commercial with the twins.

1. If you twin sister works for Discover why would you call the card, wait on hold etc etc to ask about your credit score on you bill as opposed to just asking you sister?
2. When you call the credit card company, the person that answers already has all of your info and knows everything about you.
3. The one says the other sounds different on the phone... have they never spoken on the phone before?

When people cite an example of being organized and then call themselves OCD.

I don't think the way you put away your kids' toys causes depression and frequent panic attacks.

Yes. We've been catching up on Parks and Rec On Demand, and this promo airs three or four times each episode. Viewing her supernatural screaming over and over and over again is awful.

Yes. Also, every time someone tells me that they have a "such a terrible migraine" and it's clear that they really don't. I'm especially annoyed if they use it to try to get out of something. Makes me wish one of mine on them, so they'll never throw that around again.

Same with when people randomly mix up two things... "oh, i'm so dyslexic." No you aren't, and it makes those of us that are angry with you.

I get migraines. If someone has never had one there is no real way to explain it. It's not just a really bad headache. My entire body feels like it has RLS. I can't sit or lay still. Every sound is like a jackhammer. Every light is a laser beam. Thoughts hurt. Doing algebra with a migraine might kill me. Ambient temperature becomes a nuisance and I can never get comfortable.

And it can last for days.

A buddy of mine used to get migraines. They just stopped. Odd thing is he realized they were migraines only after they stopped. Hr had never had a regular headache before and when he did he realized that those weren't just bad headaches.

I've never had one thankfully, but 2 or 3 times in my life (this past Wednesday being one) I started getting a small glare or halo in my right eye. I could see fine but like reading a computer screen, looking directly at a single word would cause a glare and make it difficult to read. It only lasted about 15 minutes, but from my previous experience an all day/all night headache was on the way. I was completely immobilized for the rest of the night, and I think it even caused me nausea. I imagine a migraine is even worse and I could barely handle the headache I had.

My wife has an ongoing Maxalt prescription. She had to take Fioricet during her pregnancy, and that just didn't get the job done.
