It's kinda like Yuengling, but a little smoother.

For the price, you can't really go wrong with it, though this year it's been hard to find. I used to be able to pick it up any time I went to Kroger/the Iggle, but in the month I've been at school, I've found 1 12 pack, and it was the last one GE had.

Sound Brewery Monk's G'Indiscretion. What an amazing and unusual beer. Absolute must try for gin and Belgian beer fans.

i picked up the sam adams fall sampler tonight. i was kind of disappointed they switched out the dunkelweiss from last year with Ruby Mild, but the Ruby Mild was actually pretty drinkable. i sold all 6 of the IPAs to my roommate, so that worked for me, as well.

the octoberfest and pumpkin are known commodities, as well as the boston lager, but the real star is the Hazel Brown. i loved it last year, and i loved it again this year. i wish i could get it outside of the fall sampler.

Sam Adams specialty big bottles (especially in the winter) are ballin. I'll drink them all day.

I'm tempted to try, but am apprehensive because I'm not a big Sam Adams fan. Have you tried any of the stouts?

I think I had a gingerbread stout last christmas. It was quite good. I also had a few others, but that was one that stood out in my mind.

There was no mention of price or anything until the receipt was pushed forward. It wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't buy two. One was for drinking in-house and another was to go for a friend's party. I basically paid for the convenience of not having to drive around town to find another place that had it in stock. If I didn't mention before that I'd be bringing a bottle for everybody to try, I would have told them no thanks.

Passing the time before my flight to Cleveland by touring the Brooklyn Brewery. Not a bad thing to do.

Be sure to check out Great Lakes brewery while you're there if you can. Also, Fatheads has a brewery there, and it's very good stuff.

I recall Factorial brewing some stoudt in State College, on the top floor of a 3 story building without A/C.
It was especially strong, due to the atmospheric conditions.

Spoiler:
Nice rig, c21.

I've had Fat Head's Headhunter and Sierra Nevada Tumbler sandwiching a Bud Light pounder today. The Headhunter is probably my favorite beer ever, Tumbler is excellent as well.

I just tried this over the weekend. They should have included a little umbrella taped to the bottle so that you can stick it in the glass to make it a boat drink. One and done.

Stone Götterdämmerung IPA. Much better selection.

Peak Organic IPA. Very good West Coast IPA from Oregon.

On the cheap, Bavaria Pils. $6.50 bucks for a six-pack. Good for a day of tailgate activity.

Leffe Blonde. One was good, two was too much sweet malt. Was priced right $3.99 for a 750ml bottle.

Southern Tier Warlock. An imperial pumpkin stout, and fantastic. For fans of heavier beers that still like the pumpkin flavor. This is like the ST Crème Brule stout with pumpkin spice. More importantly, this is a beer that isn't taken over by the over-hop craze so popular in craft beers, especially surprising coming from Southern Tier. Much smoother than Pumking, and much less overpowering.
